We've carefully preserved every original detail, from the intricate wood paneling to the minstrel's gallery that overlooks your celebration from above. As evening approaches, we dim these magnificent fixtures to create an intimate glow that transforms the space completely. The faithful replicas of 30,000 historic volumes lining our walls provide more than decoration, they create an atmosphere of scholarly elegance that photographs beautifully and impresses every guest who walks through our doors. We regularly host celebrations for up to 350 guests for standing receptions, with the room's generous proportions allowing natural flow between the main floor and the gallery level. For seated dinners, we accommodate 228 guests at round tables, with our team arranging the space to maintain clear sightlines to our historic features. Theatre-style presentations work wonderfully here too, with capacity for 240 attendees who appreciate the acoustic qualities of our high ceilings.
