The Ballroom commands the first floor with its soaring ceilings and original Victorian features that catch the light from crystal chandeliers. We've kept the period details that make this space special while adding everything modern events need - from our integrated sound system to the motorised projection screens that disappear into the ceiling when not in use. Your guests enter through double doors to find a room that shifts personality depending on your event. For seated dinners, we arrange round tables for up to 128 people, with the private bar serving as a natural gathering point during arrival drinks. When it's time to dance, we can accommodate 160 standing guests with plenty of room for a proper celebration. The original wooden floors have witnessed countless first dances and birthday speeches over the decades. The stage anchors one end of the room, complete with professional lighting rigs that our technical team operates. We've hosted everything from live bands at wedding receptions to product launches with full presentations. Those disco balls aren't just decoration - when the lights dim and the music starts, they transform the space into a proper party venue. Our private bar means no queuing with other guests, and your dedicated bartender knows exactly how you like your drinks served.
