Pink walls and deep velvet armchairs in emerald and sapphire set the scene at The Henderson Bar, where we've created something rather special for parties up to 35 guests. Natural light pours through our Victorian windows during daytime celebrations, while evenings bring a more intimate glow to this artfully designed space in one of our original Pembridge Gardens townhouses. We've arranged the bar to flow naturally between conversations, with small round tables perfect for cocktail parties where guests can move easily between groups. Our bartenders work behind the sleek bar counter, mixing drinks from our carefully chosen selection of spirits and wines, while the eclectic artwork covering the walls gives everyone something interesting to discuss. Those plush velvet seats become coveted spots as the evening progresses, creating cozy corners for deeper conversations. The space transforms beautifully depending on your needs. We can arrange intimate dinners for 10 around our tables, each decorated with fresh florals from local suppliers. For larger celebrations, the room opens up to accommodate 35 guests mingling with drinks and canapés prepared by The Henderson Kitchen team. Corporate gatherings work particularly well here too, with boardroom setups for 10 or classroom arrangements for 15, all with proper Wi-Fi and a flatscreen TV for presentations. Your guests can step straight off the Central, District or Circle lines at Notting Hill Gate and reach us within five minutes. Many groups enjoy exploring Portobello Market beforehand, arriving with stories of vintage finds and street food discoveries.
