Ian Harper's magnificent mural graces the rear wall, depicting the Elizabethan almshouses that once stood on Woodbridge Street, commissioned by Thomas Sekforde himself, the great Elizabethan lawyer who gave our street its name. This classical artwork transforms what could be just another cellar into a space rich with local history and artistic significance. At the heart of the room sits our impressive ice tank, a working demonstration of the building's pioneering heating and cooling system. This unique feature not only showcases our commitment to sustainability but creates an intriguing conversation piece for your guests.
