High wooden beams frame your view as you enter the Attic at Bush Theatre, where skylighted ceilings pour daylight across warm timber interiors. This top-floor space transforms throughout the day, from bright morning workshops to atmospheric evening celebrations, all while maintaining the character of our restored Victorian library building. The room's vaulted architecture creates an unexpectedly spacious feel, measuring 5.7 by 11.3 meters with those distinctive exposed beams adding architectural interest overhead. We've hosted everything from intimate birthday parties to lively cocktail receptions here, with groups particularly drawn to how the natural light plays across the wooden surfaces during afternoon gatherings. When evening arrives, or when presentations require it, our blackout blinds completely transform the atmosphere. Your guests can easily reach us via lift, and both Shepherd's Bush Market and Shepherd's Bush stations sit just a short walk away. The Attic accommodates 60 for standing receptions, 50 for seated dining or theatre-style events, and 15 around our boardroom table. We've equipped the space with a projector, flatscreen TV, flipchart and professional sound system, though many party hosts prefer bringing their own DJ setup or curated playlists to match their celebration's mood. The neutral wooden palette becomes whatever you envision, whether that's elegant floral arrangements for a milestone birthday or colourful decorations for a themed party. External caterers work seamlessly in our space, and you're welcome to arrange your own bar service.
