The German beer tanks behind our bar tell you exactly what kind of party space Glasshaus is. We brew fresh Kraft beer right here in Mercato Metropolitano, and yes, your guests can watch us pour it straight from the tanks while they celebrate in our 1,150 square foot Entire Venue. We built this space with transparent polycarbonate walls and roof, which means afternoon parties happen in natural daylight streaming through every corner. The wooden decking beneath your feet and rattan lampshades overhead create the relaxed atmosphere our regulars know well. When evening comes, the warm lighting completely changes the mood, something we've seen work brilliantly for engagement parties and milestone birthdays. Our beer benches seat 100 comfortably for dining, though we often clear them completely when groups want standing room for up to 150 guests. The bar serves our tank-fresh German beer alongside Jim & Tonic cocktails made with gin from our local distillery partners. We keep a thoughtful selection of wines and other drinks too, because we know not everyone's a beer drinker. Corporate teams book us for their socials, taking advantage of our PA system and flatscreen TV for presentations before the party starts. We've hosted morning yoga sessions, birthday bashes, and everything between. The covered, heated areas mean rain never spoils plans, and private hire guests get exclusive use of our dedicated toilets. Food comes through our in-house catering team or approved external caterers who know every corner of the space. Some groups venture into the surrounding Mercato Metropolitano market for additional options. Elephant & Castle station sits just a short walk away, with paid parking nearby for those driving. Our industrial frame softened by warm wood and rattan, plus the market's energy buzzing outside, creates an atmosphere you won't replicate in conventional venues.
