Floor-to-ceiling windows transform the White Studio into something special when morning light hits the polished concrete. We're talking about 109 square meters of adaptable space where natural daylight does most of the heavy lifting, creating the kind of atmosphere artificial lighting struggles to match. The south-facing glass wall defines this room. During fashion presentations, photographers love how the changing light plays across their subjects throughout the day. Product launches benefit from that authentic daylight that shows true colours, while evening receptions watch the sunset paint the space in warm tones. We've installed a Sonos sound system that handles everything from background music to live performances, and the acoustics work surprisingly well despite all that glass. Raw concrete columns and exposed ductwork remind everyone we're still in an old East London factory, but the polished floors add a contemporary edge. We can fit 300 guests for standing receptions, though most clients prefer more intimate setups, perhaps 90 for presentations or 84 for seated dinners. The space morphs depending on what you need, cabaret-style seating for 49 works brilliantly for interactive workshops. Direct load-in access means we've seen some ambitious setups roll through those doors. Pop-up restaurants have transformed the space with full kitchen installations, while tech companies have built entire exhibition stands inside. The industrial bones provide the perfect backdrop without competing for attention. Our location on a traditional cobbled street adds character that glass-fronted venues elsewhere can't match. The alternative entrance through the courtyard gives arriving guests that moment of discovery. Being in St Katharine's Dock keeps you connected to central London while maintaining that authentic East End atmosphere. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable when the room fills up, and our high-speed broadband handles whatever streaming or presentation needs arise.
