About Studio Spaces E1
Three former factory buildings on a cobbled East London street have become our home at Studio Spaces E1. We've kept the industrial bones of the place - the exposed brick, concrete columns, and 743 square meters of raw space that event planners seem to love working with. Our Warehouse is where most of the action happens. The drive-in access means we've had everything from vintage cars to elaborate stage sets rolled straight in. Those central concrete columns that once supported manufacturing equipment now frame dance floors and exhibition displays. We installed a bespoke Funktion-One sound system here because we learned early on that standard speakers just don't cut it in a space this size. The Black Studio runs 202 square meters and operates as a complete blackout space. We've rigged it with Funktion-One speakers and our own lighting system, which saves production teams from hauling in their own kit. Tech companies book it for summits, fashion brands use it for shows - the darkness lets them control every visual element. Down in the Onyx Bar, we built something different. The bar itself is clad in actual onyx, and we've mounted LED screens throughout. Another Funktion-One system handles the audio here. It works for pre-event drinks or standalone gatherings when the full warehouse feels too vast. The polished concrete floors throughout handle high heels and heavy equipment equally well. We've got three-phase power for production needs, proper air conditioning (essential when you pack in 500 people), and high-speed broadband that actually works. Being in St Katharine's Dock means we're properly connected to central London while keeping that East End character. We host conferences, product launches, fashion shows, awards ceremonies, and private parties - basically anything that needs proper sound and flexible space.
