Music spills into conversation at our Vienna Salon, where classical meets contemporary across two light-filled floors. The ground level opens up to reveal a mezzanine that regulars call their favourite spot for watching the Clerkenwell Road bustle below, while wooden floors and bentwood chairs create that particular warmth you find in proper European cafés. We've hosted everything here, from wedding receptions where the grand piano becomes centre stage for impromptu performances, to corporate gatherings where teams spread between floors for breakout sessions. The space holds 120 standing comfortably, though we often set round tables with white linens for 65 seated guests, or arrange cabaret-style seating for 50 when presentations are involved. The large windows that face Clerkenwell Road do most of the work during daytime events, flooding both levels with natural light. Come evening, the atmosphere shifts as guests flow between the ground floor and mezzanine, drinks in hand, while someone inevitably gravitates towards the piano. Our PA system handles everything from background jazz to full presentations, and the projector gets plenty of use for both corporate slideshows and wedding photo montages. Our kitchen serves modern European dishes that complement rather than dominate the conversation. The bar stocks wines from small European producers alongside everything needed for proper cocktails. Many hosts bring their own playlists or DJs to set their preferred mood, and we're happy to rearrange furniture however suits your plans. The mezzanine works particularly well for those moments when smaller groups need somewhere quieter during larger celebrations. Ground-level access means everyone can move freely throughout the space. Just off Farringdon Station, guests find us easily at 91-95 Clerkenwell Road, whether arriving for morning meetings or evening celebrations.
