Music fills every corner of Fidelio Café on Clerkenwell Road, where we've created something special across three distinct floors. Our ground floor restaurant opens up to a mezzanine level, both bathed in natural light during the day, while downstairs you'll find our basement lounge complete with its own private bar and a working fireplace that guests love gathering around on cooler evenings. We can accommodate up to 120 people standing, though most parties prefer mixing between our different spaces throughout the evening. The basement's library area works beautifully for smaller groups who want somewhere quieter to chat, while our two grand pianos upstairs often become the focal point when musicians drop by. Our PA system means we can handle everything from acoustic sets to full presentations. Classical music runs through our DNA here - we host regular concerts that transform the space into an intimate concert hall. But we're just as comfortable hosting wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, and birthday parties. Each floor has its own character, so you can rent just the basement for a cozy drinks reception or take over the whole building for larger celebrations. Our kitchen serves modern European dishes that change with the seasons - nothing overly complicated, just good food done well. The wine list wanders across Europe too, and our bartenders make proper cocktails when the mood strikes. We've found that people appreciate having quality food and drink without the fuss. The flexible seating means we can arrange things however works best for your event. Some nights we push everything back for dancing, other times we set up cabaret-style for presentations.
