Right at the back of our Victorian building, the Studio opens up through tall windows onto our garden terrace, where guests naturally spill out during parties and celebrations. We've hosted everything from 50th birthday parties to book launches here, and the flow between inside and outside always creates this brilliant energy. The exposed brick walls catch the afternoon light beautifully through those high windows, and when evening comes, our professional lighting system completely transforms the mood. We can accommodate 80 guests for standing receptions, 60 in theatre-style seating, or 50 for a seated dinner, and the flexible layout means we can configure the space exactly how you need it. What makes parties work so well here is the combination of that industrial feel from the brick and the warmth from the natural light. Our tiered seating arrangement works brilliantly for speeches or performances, but we often remove it entirely for dancing and mingling. The professional sound system handles everything from background music to full DJ sets, and the projector comes in handy for those inevitable photo montages at birthday parties. Being on the ground floor with direct terrace access, your guests can move freely between spaces, and our wheelchair-friendly facilities mean everyone can join the celebration. The Library Bar is just through the building for drinks service, though you're welcome to bring your own catering and bar arrangements. You'll find us moments from both Shepherd's Bush Market and Shepherd's Bush stations, right by the Green. When you celebrate here, you're also supporting our theatre's artistic programme and community work, which adds something special to any gathering. We offer discounted rates for registered charities too.
