The Huntingdon Room's stone fireplace commands attention the moment your delegates arrive, setting a tone that transforms ordinary meetings into something more substantial. We've hosted countless board meetings in this 16th-century space, where original features create an atmosphere that modern conference venues simply can't replicate. The room accommodates up to 90 people in theatre style, though many of our clients prefer the more intimate boardroom setup for 30, which works particularly well with the room's proportions. Natural light pours through our leaded windows throughout the day, keeping everyone alert during those longer strategy sessions. We've already installed the projector and screen you'll need, positioned perfectly so everyone has clear sightlines from our red upholstered chairs. The technical setup connects easily with your laptops, and our support team stays nearby should you need any assistance. The adjoining Ante Room provides extra flexibility, whether you're using it for breakout discussions, registration, or simply as a quiet space for phone calls. Many training providers appreciate having this additional area when running workshops, as it allows smaller group work without losing the main room's setup. Our venue sits right on Exhibition Square in York's city centre, making it straightforward for delegates travelling by train, they'll reach us within a short walk from York Railway Station.
