Built in the Victorian era, The Old Dr Bells Baths is a much loved listed building located in the heart of Leith, 121Great Junction Street. The site was home to the old Leith Victoria swimming pool which closed it's doors in the early 2000's. Now the renovated site is open as a multipurpose venue hosting a range of events including weddings, live music events, office parties and many more. We are extremely proud to announce that we have teamed up with Simon Preece and Food Creations, the Scottish catering specialists; providing everything from classic buffet options to fine dining and everything in between. The Old Dr Bells Baths is an historic building at both the physical and emotional heart of Leith. The place “where all Leithers learned to swim” has now been converted to an elegant, stylish and affordable wedding and events venue. The cold grey concrete of the Victorian swimming pool has been replaced with gleaming white walls and contrasting graphite black pillars and bannisters. This bold design gives the space a modern, contemporary feel whilst still preserving the unique features of this local institution. As you can see in our pictures the main hall has been left totally uncluttered and ready for the happy couple to pick and choose any lighting, decorations and themes they desire. Along with the stunning interior of the main hall is a state of the art kitchen which is expertly utilised by the caterers from Food Creations. These guys have been in the event catering business for a long time and offer extensive menus to suit all budgets. They are more than happy to prepare bespoke cuisine to help ensure every aspect of your' most special of days is perfect.
