About Candid Arts
Two Victorian warehouses on Torrens Street have been our home since we transformed them into Candid Arts Trust, and today we're buzzing with everything from corporate workshops to wedding celebrations across our 23,000 square feet. The exposed brick walls and original warehouse features create the perfect backdrop for both professional meetings and creative parties. Our main exhibition space spans 6,500 square feet of loft-style rooms with soaring ceilings and industrial windows that flood the space with natural light. We've kept the raw character intact while adding modern amenities that make events run smoothly. For corporate groups, we regularly host conferences, product launches, and team away days, with flexible layouts that adapt to your needs. Small tables and chairs are available, and we can arrange partition walls to create breakout areas or separate meeting zones. The creative energy here comes from our 20 working artist studios scattered throughout the building. You might catch glimpses of painters at work or hear musicians rehearsing as you move between our film screening rooms and rehearsal spaces. Our banquet room works beautifully for private celebrations and weddings, offering that industrial-chic atmosphere without feeling cold or impersonal. Between sessions, your guests can relax in our café with its outdoor courtyard – a surprisingly peaceful spot considering we're just a short walk from Angel Station. The café serves throughout the day, whether you need morning coffee for an early meeting or afternoon refreshments during a workshop break. We also run regular life drawing classes and host live performances including poetry readings, improv nights, music showcases, and theatre productions. Many event organizers love incorporating these creative elements into their corporate events or celebrations.
