At Chetham's School of Music, we welcome you into Manchester's Medieval Quarter where our 15th-century College House stands alongside our contemporary New School Building. Our venue combines six centuries of history with modern facilities designed for today's meetings, weddings, and celebrations. The Stoller Hall, our 482-seat auditorium in the New School Building, draws event planners who need exceptional acoustics for conferences and concerts. The tiered seating and advanced AV technology make presentations effortless, while the wood-paneled interior creates an atmosphere that impresses delegates and wedding guests alike. For smaller gatherings, our Carole Nash Hall accommodates workshops and intimate performances with the same attention to sound quality. Our Baronial Hall, dating from 1421, remains one of the best-preserved medieval halls in the country. The original timber beams and stone walls provide a dramatic setting for corporate dinners and wedding receptions. We've carefully integrated modern amenities—including free Wi-Fi and accessible facilities—without disturbing the historical character. The 17th-century Audit Room, with its ornate plasterwork and paneled walls, suits board meetings and private celebrations for up to 40 guests. The Oglesby Atrium spans the full height of our New School Building, flooding the space with natural light. This contemporary area works beautifully for drinks receptions and networking events, offering a striking contrast to our medieval spaces. Product launches and exhibitions benefit from the open layout and modern aesthetic.
