The oak-paneled walls of our Great Hall have witnessed everything from international conferences to candlelit wedding receptions. Here at Goodenough College in Mecklenburgh Square, we're tucked into one of Bloomsbury's quietest garden squares, yet just a short walk from King's Cross, Russell Square, and Euston stations. Our Grade II listed London House underwent a complete refurbishment in 2014, bringing modern functionality to these historic spaces while preserving their original character. The Great Hall remains our showpiece - those high vaulted ceilings create remarkable acoustics whether you're hosting 250 delegates for a product launch or arranging tables for a formal dinner. Right next door, the Large Common Room offers a more flexible setup that works beautifully for board meetings, drinks receptions, or breakout sessions. Across the square in William Goodenough House, we have two contemporary function rooms that provide a nice contrast to the period features of London House. Between both buildings, we offer eight distinct spaces, each with its own atmosphere - some retain their academic heritage with wood paneling, others feature clean, modern lines perfect for presentations. What sets us apart is having everything under one roof. Our catering team prepares meals in our own kitchens, we maintain all the AV equipment you'll need for presentations or speeches, and if your guests need overnight accommodation, The Goodenough Club offers four-star en-suite rooms right here on the square. Our events team handles corporate meetings, weddings, and cultural gatherings throughout the year, so we understand the different needs each brings.
