The Kia Oval has been Surrey County Cricket Club's home since 1845, and we've turned our historic ground into one of London's most distinctive event venues. Just a minute from Oval Tube Station and seven minutes from Vauxhall, we're perfectly positioned in central London yet sit just outside the congestion charge zone. We have over 50 rooms here, each flooded with natural daylight and overlooking our famous cricket pitch. Our Long Room combines wood paneling with crystal chandeliers for formal dinners and board meetings, while the Jardine Suite offers something completely different with its exposed pipework and contemporary feel. The 175 Suite is our largest space - we can fit 900 guests for drinks receptions here, though it works equally well for conferences of 600 or seated dinners for 400. Our partnership with Compass means we handle everything from working breakfasts to five-course dinners, with menus designed around seasonal ingredients. We're working towards Net Zero by 2030, which shapes how we approach everything from energy use to ingredient sourcing. Whether you're planning a conference, board meeting, awards dinner, product launch, wedding reception, or Christmas party, our event coordinators work with you from first enquiry through to the day itself. On event day, our operations team takes over to ensure everything runs smoothly. We've hosted pharmaceutical conferences in our contemporary boardrooms, charity galas in the Long Room, and summer parties on our roof terrace overlooking the pitch. Each space offers something different - traditional elegance, industrial chic, or outdoor terraces with cricket ground views.
